Welcoming Our New Business Development Manager

The Farsight Observatory

As demands for high-quality security services increase and we receive ever more enquiries, we’ve made the move to invest in growth and expand our sales division.

As a leading UK provider of security monitoring services, we are delighted to welcome Chris Shields as Business Development Manager. Previously, Chris worked in sales for installers of electronic security systems for 12 years. In that time he managed some of the UK’s top facilities management companies.

Chris ShieldsAs we expand our team, we are seizing the opportunity to grow our already impressive portfolio of existing clients who use our remote monitoring services.

We currently provide security services to three out of five of the UK’s top retailers, along with two of the country’s leading solar farm companies and the world’s largest facilities management company.

“This is an exciting time for the growth of Farsight Security Services,” said Malcolm O’Shea-Barnes, senior operations manager.

“Since 2007 when Farsight was bought by Optex Japan, the world’s leading manufacturer of various security hardware, we’ve gone from strength to strength. There is a constant demand for security but recently we’ve increased our market share and look to continue this trend.

“We are delighted to introduce Chris to our team of security professionals, and with his extensive experience in the security sector we are positive he will be a huge asset to Farsight. With Chris’ help, Farsight will be providing peace-of-mind to even more businesses and individuals across the UK.”
