Introduction

1. The ‘#win free CCTV Monitoring for a year prize draw’ is organised solely by Farsight Security Services Ltd. (known simply as ‘Farsight’) of The Observatory, Leofric Square, Vicarage Farm Rd, Peterborough PE1 5TU.
2. By entering this prize draw you are agreeing to our Prize Draw Terms & Conditions as outlined below.

How to enter

3. Eligible participants can simply complete the entry form by following this link: ‘#win free CCTV Monitoring for a year prize draw’. All fields must be completed.
4. Our prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary
5. The opening date of this prize draw is 22/06/2021 at 12:01 am and the closing date of the prize draw is 31/07/2021 at 11:59 pm
6. Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
7. Farsight will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

9. Farsight reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or at its reasonable discretion.

Eligibility

10. Only UK-based participants will be entered into this prize draw and only UK sites will be eligible for the CCTV Monitoring service offered in this prize draw.
11. Our prize draw is open to all UK security installers, integrators, and specifiers but not to employees of Farsight, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
12. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
13. Only one entry per person is permitted.
14. In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Farsight may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
15. Farsight reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

The Draw

16. A winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process within one month of the prize draw or competition ending.
17. The winner will receive details of the prize.
18. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 7 days of being chosen and must provide a postal address to claim their prize.
19. If a winner does not respond to Farsight within 14 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Farsight will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
20. The prize offered in this prize draw is the CCTV monitoring of one commercial or residential site with up to 16 compatible inputs (at no cost) for a period of 12 months prior to the successful commissioning of the site to align with our systems. This service will be part of our SureSight installer CCTV Monitoring package.
21. Confirmation of the compatibility of the winner, the security equipment and the premises/site where the prize is intended to service will remain at Farsight’s discretion and we reserve the right to withdraw or replace the prize with an alternate service should it deem necessary to do so.
22. Prior to acceptance from Farsight that it will monitor the intended premises/site, we will require full acceptance of our CCTV Monitoring Terms & Conditions, commissioning process requirements and Terms of Business. These will be made available to the winner.
23. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
24. The prize is to monitor an existing CCTV system that is compatible with our monitoring software and systems.
25. The prize of free monitoring for 12 months will be for a new site to Farsight, not to replace an existing paid service agreement that we already monitor.
26. The decision of Farsight regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
27. For transparency, the winner’s name and county can be requested by sending an email to [email protected] within 60 of days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.
28. Farsight reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Data protection and publicity

1. Farsight is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Farsight’s website Privacy Policy is available on our website.
2. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Farsight or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition. We may use the winner’s name and/or company name on our website or social media marketing.
3. Farsight reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
